Qabel il-miġja ta’ Ġesù, Ġwanni deher ixandar magħmudija ta’ ndiema lill-poplu kollu ta’ Iżrael. U meta kien wasal fi tmiem il-ħidma tiegħu, Ġwanni qal: “Jien m’iniex dak li intom taħsbu li jien. L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Qalb ħanina li tagħder, li taħfer, kif ħabbejtna nixtiequ nħobbuk”. Dan hu l-kliem mill-innu Tina l-ħlewwa miktub minn Dun Karm Psaila, u bil-mużika tal-Maestro Caruana. Hu innu verament sabiħ li jesprimi proprju dak li qed niċċelebraw illum fis-solennità tal-Qalb Imqaddsa ta’ Ġesù. Meta nħarsu lejn il-Qalb Imqaddsa ta’ Ġesù, niftakru fl-imħabba kbira tiegħu lejna – dik ix-xmara ta’ mħabba li fil-ħajja tagħna, nilqgħu, u li tibdlilna ħajjitna għall-aħjar għax tfakkarna li aħna wlied maħbuba ta’ Alla… Read more »

Kultant ngħidu: imma aħna mhux ilkoll għandna bżonn il-ħniena tiegħu? U hekk hu. U forsi diffiċli ngħoddu lilna nfusna ma’ dawk id-99 li m’għandhomx bżonn indiema… Read more »
