ARCHBISHOP MEETS YOUNG PEOPLE IN PACEVILLE

On Saturday, 10th April, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP made a surprise visit to youths in Paceville in preparation for Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to Malta. On Wednesday, 7th April, 2010, details were announced regarding the arrival and departure ceremonies of Pope Benedict XVI in Malta during a press conference held at the Malta International Airport (MIA).

On Monday, 5th April, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP together with Mgr. Tommaso Caputo, Apostolic Nuncio to Malta, attended the inauguration of an exhibition themed: ‘From Benedict to Benedict’ at Pardo Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affaris, Valletta.

DETAILS ON POPE’S VISIT TO ST. PAUL’S GROTTO

On Tuesday, 30th March, 2010, the Organizing Committee for the Pope’s visit announced the events planned for the Pope’s visit to Saint Paul’s Church & Grotto in Rabat, on the 17th April. The venue was chosen by Pope Benedict XVI himself, who expressed his interest in visiting the Grotto below the Church.

BANDS AND ARTISTS PARTICIPATING IN POPE’S MEETING WITH YOUTHS ANNOUNCED

On Friday, 26th March, 2010, during a press conference held at MCAST, Paola, the bands, solo artists and dancers taking part in Pope Benedict XVI’s meeting with youths on the 18th of April were announced. This concert, which will start at 2.15p.m., will give these youths the opportunity to show off their talents on an international scale.
