On Friday, 26th March, 2010, during a press conference held at MCAST, Paola, the bands, solo artists and dancers taking part in Pope Benedict XVI’s meeting with youths on the 18th of April were announced. This concert, which will start at 2.15p.m., will give these youths the opportunity to show off their talents on an international scale.
Of the 18 bands which had submitted their application to the Diocesan Youth Commission to take part in the concert, 10 were chosen. The Pastoral Liturgical Youth Group (PLYG) had the arduous task of choosing the bands. These are: Y4J band, Heartbeat, Footprints, Mixja Neokatekumenali, Salt, Animae Gospel Choir, Rise, His Project, Symphonic Choir and Cedar House.
Eight artists (dancers and solo singers) will be also participating: Y4J Dance Team, Fr Karm Debattista, Maranatha Dance Team, Eleanor Cassar, Incite Motion School of Dance and Carlos Vella.
