Stop-AIDS-Hand

The Pope affirmed this today before praying the Angelus at midday with pilgrims gathered in St. Peter’s Square, noting that World AIDS Day will be observed Thursday.

“My thoughts and my prayers go to all persons affected by this sickness, in particular children, to the poorest and to those who are rejected,” he said.

On Friday, 27th November 2009, Archbishop Paul Cremona presided over at a celebration at Floriana parish church, during which five sixth year  seminarians were instituted as acolytes. The new acolytes are Stephen Attard from Mosta, Rene’ Antoine Cilia from the parish of St George Qormi, Nicholas Dimech from Siggiewi, Stephen Magro from Zabbar and David Torpiano from Floriana.
