Fid-29 ta’ Settembru, l-Organu Prinċipali Amministrattiv tal-Leġjun ta’ Marija, magħruf bħala r-Regia, se jiċċelebra l-1,000 laqgħa tiegħu f’85 sena.

Kien fit-23 ta’ April 1940 meta Mons. Arċisqof Mauro Caruana OSB waqqaf kanonikament f’Malta l-Leġjun ta’ Marija, moviment ta’ appostolat tal-lajċi li kien beda Frank Duff fl-Irlanda fl-1921.

On 12 September 1965, Mgr Michael Azzopardi used his Sunday Rediffusion programme Is-Siegħa tal-Morda to share an audacious dream: a home offering residential services to persons with disabilities in Malta. Before this date, he had already sought properties in Floriana, Gżira and Ħal Lija, but lacked the means to purchase one. Fl-okkażjoni tal-Ġublew tat-Tama u l-100 sena mill-Kanonizzazzjoni ta’ San Ġwann Eudes,  is-Sorijiet tal-Bon Pastur f’Ħal Balzan se jiċċelebraw dawn iż-żewġ avvenimenti nhar il-25 ta’ Settembru fis-7:30pm, permezz ta’ mixja mill-ġnien tas-Sorijiet lejn il-Knisja tal-Bon Pastur, fejn hemmhekk issir quddiesa ċċelebrata mill-Isqof Awżiljarju Joseph Galea-Curmi.
