Following is the complete text of the homily that Pope Francis gave during the Mass inaugurating his Petrine ministry. Beginning with the image of St. Joseph, the “protector”, the Pope stressed that the vocation to protect creation and humanity concerns everyone. He urged all to not be afraid of goodness or even of tenderness.

Bħala parti mill-inizjattiva fl-okkażjoni tas-Sena tal-Fidi, numru ta’ skejjel tal-Knisja, għada il-Ħamis 21 ta’ Marzu 2013, se jixgħelu l-bini tal-iskola bħala sinjal tas-sejħa u l-missjoni tagħhom li jkunu dawl tal-fidi għall-istudenti u l-familji tagħhom, u għas-soċjetà kollha.
