MED25 Malta: The journey of faith, culture and dialogue in Malta comes to an end

The third day of the MED25 – Bel Espoir Project in Malta began with a ferry trip from Valletta to the historic Three Cities. The group explored the narrow streets of Vittoriosa and Cospicua, ending their walk at the parish church in Senglea, where the final meeting of this edition of the project took place.

Mass and prayer for the election of the new Pope

In anticipation of the forthcoming papal conclave, which will begin on 7th May 2025, the Archdiocese of Malta announces that a Mass for the election of the new Pope will be celebrated in all churches throughout the Archdiocese. Wherever possible, this liturgical celebration will be followed by half an hour of Eucharistic adoration. MED25 Malta: Women’s stories of strength and hope in a changing Mediterranean

The youths participating in the MED25 – Bel Espoir Project, currently taking place in Malta, began their second day with a public lecture at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. Conclave to elect new Pope to begin on 7th May 2025

The Cardinals present in Rome have agreed to begin the conclave on May 7th, 2025.

They made the decision at the Fifth General Congregation, held on Monday morning in the Vatican’s Synod Hall.

The conclave will take place in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, which will remain closed to visitors during those days.
