The Archdiocese of Malta confirms that a report was filed with the Żurrieq Police Station and that an investigation is underway following the theft of a number of relics from the Parish Church of St Leonard the Abbot in Ħal Kirkop.
The relics were kept in the reliquary behind the church’s main altar, which showed no signs of forced entry. After it was verified that the relics were missing and had not been moved elsewhere within the church, the parish priest filed a police report, as required of him in such circumstances… Read more »

The workers who have been in the vineyard since early morning look at those who have arrived only at the last hour, and they think: “That isn’t fair”. And if we are honest, we can understand them. Today we give thanks to God for our beloved Malta, for the freedom we inherited and for those who sacrificed so much so that our country could determine its own future.
