BISHOP DEPASQUALE RETURNS TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER’S HOUSE

The death of Bishop Annetto Depasquale has been announced. He was the Auxiliary Bishop and Titular Bishop of Aradi. Bishop Depasquale who hailed from Hal Qormi was 73 years old and died at 3.45 p.m.

VATICAN MARKING ANNIVERSARY OF JOHN PAUL II’S “FAMILIARIS CONSORTIO”

The Pontifical Council for the Family will mark the anniversary of its creation at its plenary assembly next week, which coincides also with the 30th anniversary of “Familiaris Consortio.”

At a press conference, the Tuesday through Thursday conference was presented by the officials of that Vatican dicastery.

Cardinal Ennio Antonelli, president of the council, highlighted themes from “Familiaris Consortio,” such as the central role of the family in the new evangelization and in pastoral ministry in parishes and dioceses… Read more »

MTARFA PASTORAL VISIT OPENING MASS

On Saturday 26th November 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met the Liturgical Commission of Mtarfa. Later on, the Archbishop celebrated Mass at the Parish Centre of Mtarfa, for the official opening of the pastoral visit and afterwards, met with the people.
