GHAZLIET on Thursday 1st December 2011 on Education 22 at 1.30.pm, with repeats at 6.00pm and 9.00pm, and also with a repeat on Sunday at 10.15am

Do we love animals?  Is it acceptable to give children pets but then allow them to ignore them once the excitement is over?  How egoistic are we in this respect?

Why should we love animals?  Is it possible to love animals as though they were one’s children?  And if we do not love animals, are we justified to be cruel towards them?

During today’s programme we will meet a person who has been taking care of abandoned animals for a long time, sometimes even at her own expense.  Surely this programme will help us change our views on animals

This week’s programme will focus on harassment at the place of work and the fear of losing one’s job if one speaks up.  Why do these things happen?  Up to what point can such behaviour be tollerated?  Could there be occasions where one feels harassed, but in actual fact no harassment is taking place?

Presentor Joyce Cassar together with resident guest Fr. Rene Camilleri together with other guests will discuss this situation which will be presented by actors .
