To mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malta and the Holy See, the Apostolic Nunciature to Malta and the Society of Christian Doctrine M.U.S.E.U.M. are hosting a public symposium titled Educating the Heart: Rediscovering Our Core Values. This special event will explore the urgent need to re-root education in core values like compassion, honesty, integrity, and solidarity that shape individuals and communities. In a time when societies face cultural fragmentation and moral uncertainty, the symposium seeks to renew a shared commitment to holistic education that nurtures both intellect and conscience.
Keynote speaker Prof. Carmel Borg, along with Dr Maria Montebello and Dr Ian Mifsud, will offer insights on how institutions and individuals can educate the heart.
The symposium will take place on Thursday, 12th June 2025 at 7pm at the Dar Ħanin Samaritan Conference Centre, Triq il-Palazz l-Aħmar, St. Venera.
