La Salle Malta has launched a new website with the aim of giving detailed information about the work of the Lasallian network in Malta while linking to the wider Lasallian network worldwide.
La Salle Malta is the network of Lasallian Colleges in Malta, De La Salle College and Stella Maris College. These two colleges incorporate six schools serving students following primary and secondary level education going up to the post-secondary Sixth form level. More than 400 educators work in the colleges serving more than 2,400 students. The network also incorporates the Lasallian Pastoral Centre in Mellieħa.
The website gives prominence to the strong educational work being undertaken in these six schools, with a dedicated section for each of the Lasallian schools. The website gives detailed information about each school, the curriculum being offered and the activities being organised. The website will also be updated with information about recent events and activities organised by each school.
Furthermore, the website also gives information about the Lasallian District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta as well as the international Lasallian institute. Today the Lasallian family is made up of more than 3,000 Brothers, who together with 90,000 educators and lay partners assist in more than 1,100 educational works in 80 countries, supporting more than 1 million students, including children, young people and adults.
