Benedict XVI: Trip Gave World a Chance to See Muslims, Christians United in Celebrating Peace

Benedict XVI wrapped up his three-day trip to Lebanon Sunday afternoon, offering a final word of thanks to his hosts by comparing their warmth and affection to “one of those renowned oriental spices,” and saying that he has hopes to return.

Servants of God in marriage and family

Henry and Inez Casolani got married in 1944.  Inez died in 1992 and Henry seven years later in 1999.

New parish priest for Imtarfa

Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. has appointed Fr Denis Schembri parish priest of St. Lucy’s parish in Mtarfa.

Fr Denis was born in 1951 and raised in St. Julians. He received his education at Stella Maris College, Gżira, and continued his tertiary education at the Faculty of Theology (Philosophy & Theology), University of Malta.

Fr Denis was ordained to the priesthood on 21st April 1975 and was appointed vice parish priest in Senglea… Read more »

On Friday 14th September 2012, the European Conference of Justice and Peace Commissions and the Justice and Peace Commission of the Catholic Church in Malta had an opening session of the International Workshop ‘The Arab Spring…One Year Later’ at the Archbishop’s Seminary, tal-Virtù in Rabat at 6pm.
