For the first time since his election on 13 March 2013, Pope Francis is returning to the continent of his birth – Latin America – on a journey which will see him interact and communicate in his own language – Spanish.

On Monday 29th June 2015, Pope Francis delivered the homily at Mass celebrated in St. Peter’s Basilica on Monday, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Patrons of Rome. The Mass also saw the ceremonial gift of the Pallium – the peculiar sign of the office of a Metropolitan Archbishop. Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna received the pallium with other Archbishops.
