People’s Sunday pilgrimage in Ħaż-Żabbar

  • Illum il-Ħadd, 10 ta’ Marzu 2019, f’Ħaż-Żabbar, l-Arċisqof Charles J. Scicluna ser imexxi l-pellegrinaġġ penitenzjali ta’ Ħadd in-Nies, bl-istatwa devozzjonali tal-Madonna tal-Grazzja flimkien mal-kappillani, il-kleru, reliġjużi, rappreżentanti tas-soċjetajiet ċivili, għaqdiet tal-parroċċa u bosta pellegrini.

    Il-pellegrinaġġ ser jibda fl-4:15 pm u wara li tidħol l-istatwa tal-Madonna fis-Santwarju, ser tiġi ċċelebrata Quddiesa bil-parteċipazzjoni tal-kor Notre Dame.

    Snin ilu, l-aspett ta’ ringrazzjament u penitenza kien qanqal lil missirijietna biex iżuru u jassistu għad-diversi pellegrinaġġi li kienu jsiru lejn is-Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Grazzja f’Ħaż-Żabbar…

    • L‑Arċisqof Charles J. Scicluna ħatar lil Dun Charlon Muscat bħala kappillan tal‑parroċċa ta’ San Ġużepp Ħaddiem, Birkirkara.

      Dun Charlon Muscat twieled fil‑30 ta’ April 1985 u trabba l‑Mosta fejn irċieva l‑edukazzjoni fl‑iskola primarja fil‑Mosta. Huwa kiseb l‑edukazzjoni sekondarja fl-iskola Vincenzo Bugeja, Birkirkara, u kompla l‑istudji terzjarji fil‑Fakultà tat‑Teoloġija (Filosofija u Teoloġija) fl‑Università ta’ Malta. Archbishop appoints Episcopal Delegate for Evangelization

Pope at Angelus urges leaders to be discerning, just and merciful

  • Pope Francis on Sunday reflected on the Gospel reading of the day in which Jesus invites his disciples to be good role models.

    He was speaking to the crowds gathered in a sunny St. Peter’s Square for the Angelus Prayer when he took his cue from the Gospel of Luke in which Jesus poses the question “Can a blind person guide a blind person?”
