Annual Drugs Report: Heroin use in decline while more people are seeking help
27/01/2022L-użu tad-droga eroina kompla jonqos fost l-individwi li qed jieħdu trattament għall-vizzju, bl-istima ta’ persuni li jużaw din id-droga kuljum tinżel kważi bin-nofs fis-sena 2020 meta mqabbel mas-sena 2015. Kien hemm 1,098 (55%) persuna li fittxew l-għajnuna primarjament minħabba l-użu tal-eroina matul is-sena 2020.

Apostolic Nuncio to end his mission in Malta
26/01/2022Archbishop Alessandro D’Errico has announced that he will end his work as Apostolic Nuncio in Malta.
The 71-year-old Mgr D’Errico will leave Malta in the coming months after reaching retiring age.
He personally conveyed this news to the Bishops of Malta and Gozo during a meeting of the Episcopal Conference held on Tuesday at the Apostolic Nunciature in Tal-Virtù, Rabat.

Addressing a plenary session of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Pope Francis underlined three keywords, dignity, discernment, and faith.
