Bishop Emeritus Mgr Paul Darmanin O.F.M. Cap. passed away last night at the age of 82.
In 1984, Mgr Darmanin was ordained the first bishop of the Diocese of Garissa in Kenya. He led this diocese up to 2015, after which he retired in Malta where he lived in the Convent of the Capuchin Friars in Floriana.
