On Friday, 22nd January 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP visited Saint Thomas More Primary School in Tarxien. Currently 232 students attend this school. The Archishop was welcomed in the school yard by the students who sang hymns and recited the morning prayer. As part of the occasion the students collected donations for Dar tal-Providenza. The students took part in several activities and during this time the Archbishop took the opportunity to speak to all those who were present. Afterward the Archbishop visited the classes and school offices and spoke to the students and their teachers.
