Does today’s society need the Church?

Għaqda Studenti tat-Teoloġija (GħST), every year commemorates its foundation day with a public debate. This year, it is the 73rd year since its foundation and shall discuss different perspectives on the role of the Catholic Church in Malta, and seek to study the multifaceted and dynamic process of identity formation within the current Maltese context and the role of the Catholic Church in this process, whilst explore to answer one of today’s popularly asked questions: Does today’s society need the Church? 

The public debate is to take place tomorrow, Friday, 30th November 2018, at Xara Lodge, ir-Rabat, at 7pm.
