Cardinal Mario Grech appointed to Dicastery for Bishops

Pope Francis has appointed Cardinal Mario Grech as a member of the Dicastery for Bishops, formerly known as the Congregation for Bishops.

Cardinal Grech, who serves as secretary general of the Synod of Bishops, is one of 14 new members who will sit on the department of the Roman Curia that oversees the selection of new bishops.

Is‑Segretarjat għall‑Edukazzjoni Nisranija inawgura uffiċċji ġodda f’Ħal Balzan sabiex ikun jista’ jkompli jagħti servizz aħjar lill‑istudenti u l‑impjegati fl‑iskejjel tal‑Knisja. Dawn ġew imbierka mill‑Isqof Awżiljarju Joseph Galea‑Curmi wara quddiesa li saret fil‑Kappella tal‑Bon Pastur f’Ħal Balzan stess. Għal din il‑quddiesa u għat‑tberik tal‑uffiċċji attendew l‑impjegati tas‑Segretarjat, sorijiet tal‑Bon Pastur u persuni oħra li taw sehemhom fit‑twettiq tal‑proġett.

Every step counts: Camini…amo with a donation for Fondazzjoni Sebħ

Several volunteers from the Camini…amo group walked the Pilgrimage of St James better known as the Camino de Santiago in the Galician region in Northern Spain. A total sum of €15,000 was raised by the pilgrims and their contacts in aid Fondazzjoni Sebħ. The funds will support various projects of the Church entity and  will assist in meeting some of the needs of children, adolescents and women living in the foundation’s residences… Read more »
