Religious functions suspended to safeguard people’s health

Il‑Knisja qed twaqqaf il‑funzjonijiet reliġjużi kollha b’effett immedjat, għajr għall‑quddiesa tal‑funeral u ċ‑ċelebrazzjoni tar‑rit taż‑żwieġ. Dawn il‑miżuri, li qed jitħabbru bi qbil mal‑Awtoritajiet tas‑Saħħa, se jibqgħu fis‑seħħ sal‑11 ta’ April 2021.

Il‑knejjes prinċipali se jibqgħu miftuħa għat‑talb privat. Biex wieħed jidħol fil‑knisja għandu jibqa’ jimxi mal‑miżuri kollha preżenti għall‑ħarsien tas‑saħħa.

Urgent school vaccination roll-out needed

Situation causing unnecessary stress and tension in some schools

While welcoming the strong drive towards COVID-19 vaccination for school staff members which is currently underway, the Secretariat for Catholic Education and the Church Schools Association call for greater urgency and a more balanced vaccination roll-out amongst staff in all schools (State, Church and independent schools).
