The Salesians of Don Bosco and the Social Policy Ministry have signed an agreement which would guarantee services at Dar Alberto Mavelli in Paola and Carlo Gastini residence in Valletta.

The agreement provides for €176,000 investment over three years.

The two projects are aimed at youths who grew up in care homes, and equip the youths with skills and assistance as part of their transition into society.

The president of the Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils, Bryan Magro, told Newsbook.com.mt that the Paola residence will host three youths while the Valletta residence can take in up to four individuals.

In 2021, the Salesian Past Pupils of Malta entered into an agreement with the government to manage an intergenerational project that provides social and economic housing for the elderly and young people.
