On Wednesday, 23rd June, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP ordained nine young men to the priesthood during a celebration of Mass, at the Cathedral, Mdina. The new members of the priesthood are Fr. Deo Debono OSA, Fr. Stefan Galea, Fr. Mark Ellul, Fr. Emmanuel Schembri, Fr. Mario Sant OFM Conv., Fr. Blake Camilleri, Fr. Josef Briffa SJ, Fr. Marc Andrè Camilleri and Fr. Noel Borg.
In his homily, the Archbishop praised the newly ordained priests’ generosity in giving themselves to God’s service. He continued by saying that the sacrament of Priesthood will leave an indelible mark on their personality.
