On Friday 29th June 2012, the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. celebrated mass during which nine new priests were ordained (7 diocesan and 2 religious), at St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
The new priests are:
- Fr. Dillon Bugeja from St. Catherine’s Parish, Żurrieq
- Fr. Mark Cachia, Jesuit
- Fr. Robin Camilleri from St. Andrew’s Parish, Luqa
- Fr. Roderick Camilleri from Our Lady of Grace, Żabbar
- Fr. Mario Dimech from St. Nicholas Parish, Siġġiewi
- Fr. Anthony Paul Fitzpatrick our Lady of Fatima Parish, Gwardamanga
- Fr. George Schembri from St. George’s Martyr, Qormi
- Fr. Walter Vassallo from The Order of Friars Minor
- Fr. Michael Zammit from St. Helen’s Parish, Birkirkara
