On Saturday 16th October, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. celebrated Mass at Mosta Parish Church, for the official opening of the pastoral visit. Archbishop Cremona’s homily on the occasion of the pastoral visit evolved not only on the subject of what it means to be a parish, but also around the pastoral note on Marriage and the Family.

The Archbishop said that without unity there cannot be a parish. He urged members to work together to create a welcoming environment based solely upon Christian values. Archbishop Cremona said that each individual in the community is bestowed with the opportunity to bring closer to the community those who are outcasted or are not yet part of it.
