Life Network Foundation is excited to announce the opening of a new Central Distribution Hub for mothers and babies in need. The Hub will be a place where mothers can come to receive help with supplies such as baby food, nappies, baby clothes, and other necessities that they may not be able to afford or have access to. The Hub will also be a place that welcomes, sorts and distributes donations from the community.

In 2022, LifeLine Malta provided a record number of help and supply services. It received 305 calls and messages through its helpline, provided 1,105 hours of post-natal support to mothers, supported 85 families with food and supplies throughout the year, provided 1,205 hours of counselling, and most importantly, 26 babies born from unplanned pregnancies were able to have a safe and healthy home to go to.

“The opening of this new Distribution Hub is another step in our mission to support mothers and families in need,” said Christie Zammit, Administrative Officer of Dar Tgħanniqa ta’ Omm. “We are determined to help as many mothers and babies as we can. There are many mothers and young families in need, and we believe this new Central Distribution Centre will be a great help.”

Details of how to access the Distribution Hub in Santa Venera, and how to support it will be published on www.lifelinemalta.eu in the coming weeks.
