Friday July 22 – President George Abela was presented with the Official Memorandum of the Young People’s Forum 2010/2011. The document draws the immediate opinions of young people on social media and its impact on the individual and society. The Memorandum was also presented to Archbishop Paul Cremona earlier in July.
The Forum is a discussion exercise that advances the voices of young people to key decision makers both within society and the church. This is the fourth edition of the Young People’s Forum organized by KDŻ, with the direct participation of over 300 young people.
In the coming weeks, KDŻ is also scheduled to formally present the Memorandum to other state and church leaders.
