Last Tuesday, 17th August 2010, during a mass which was led by Archbishop Paul Cremona OP, the gift of life was celebrated. As part of the preparations for the feast of St Mary at Dingli, the parish has chosen as a theme: the Blessed Virgin Mary – cause of our joy.
After mass, the Archbishop presided over a short moment of prayer and afterwards, 35 babies, all born to parents from Dingli during the past year, were presented to the Virgin Mary. Every family was offered a memento of the occasion and the parents were also given the opportunity to meet the Archbishop informally.
