A group of 14 altar boys from Malta and Gozo are currently offering their services in the Vatican and were lucky enough to meet Pope Francis on Sunday.
The altar boys took a photo with Pope Francis who met them after Sunday’s Angelus prayer, where they prayed together before the Pontiff gave them his blessing and asked them to pray for him.

During the summer of 2022, ŻAK Ħal Tarxien and Azione Cattolica San Severo held an exchange in Malta with the title of ‘Id f’Id,’ discussing sustainability and post-COVID-19 rebuilding. The Diaconia Unit of the Church in Malta inaugurated its first thrift shop, named LOOP. The primary aim of this project is to give dignity to individuals facing challenging circumstances, while encouraging environmental consciousness and solidarity within the community.

In a message sent to participants of the Medjugorje International Youth Festival on Thursday, Pope Francis urged young people to open their hearts to the will of God.
“God has a plan of love for each of you,” said the Pope. “Do not be afraid of His will, but place all your trust in His grace.”

The conservation and restoration of two large paintings located in the apse of the Parish Church of St Gregory the Great in Tas-Sliema have been completed. The restoration work, amounting to €110,000 with 80% co-financing from European Union funds, was inaugurated by Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi and Parliamentary Secretary Chris Bonett.
