Henry and Inez Casolani’s remains to be displayed in St Augustine’s Church in Valletta

Preparations are underway to transfer the remains of the Servants of God, Henry and Inez Casolani, from the Addolorata cemetery to St Augustine Church Valletta, for public veneration.

For this reason, on Monday 5 June an agreement, between the Augustinian Province and the Henry and Inez Casolani Association, was signed for this transfer to take place.

FESTALWIĠI: A Community Festival with a difference

Unstable weather conditions did not dampen the enthusiasm of those who gathered in the St Aloysius College Grounds in Birkirkara on Sunday 21st May for a packed programme of day-long activities.

FestAlwiġi is a community festival organised by the St Aloysius College Committee, consisting of members of staff from the three schools. Following a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, College brought this much-loved celebration for staff, students, and their families and friends back with a bang.

Public dialogue inspired by Pope Francis’ visit to Malta to be held on 1 June

Inspired by Pope Francis visit to Malta, Rethink Culture will be holding a public event next month to discuss the complex issues shaping Maltese culture.

Inspired by Pope Francis’ visit to Malta last year a series of podcasts, entitled Rethink, had a number of guests including activists, academics, politicians and members of the clergy discuss the Maltese reality.

Diversity brings us together!

Missio Malta celebrated World Diversity Day together with school children from the Mellieħa Primary School on Monday 15th May. The activity served to mark UNESCO’s World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, with the aim of highlighting the wealth of the world’s cultures and promoting peace through dialogue.
