Ordination of four new priests
10/05/2023The Church in Malta will shortly have four new priests. Archbishop Charles Jude Scicluna will ordain the first three deacons to the priesthood at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta on Saturday, 13th May, at 9:30am. The ceremony will be livestreamed on Church.mt and Newsbook.com.mt.

Unveiling of the portrait of Mgr Arthur Said Pullicino
09/05/2023 The Metropolitan Tribunal, VallettaOn the eve of the third anniversary of the death of Mgr Arthur Said Pullicino, a portrait by artist Manuel Farrugia was unveiled at the Metropolitan Tribunal in Valletta by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi, in the presence of tribunal workers and his relatives. 06/05/2023On Friday 5 May 2023, The St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation launched ‘A Gift of Glory’ – the exhibition of the St John’s Co-Cathedral Tapestries, a gift of Grand Master Ramon Perellos. This exhibition marks the culmination of a 16-year project of conservation and restoration, ensuring that these magnificent tapestries will be preserved for future generations.

05/05/2023 The Parish Church of St Catherine, ŻurrieqĠie inawgurat xogħol ta’ restawr fuq il-Knisja Arċipretali taż-Żurrieq – proġett li twettaq b’investiment ta’ €81,000 li minnhom 80% kienu fondi Ewropej u 20% kienu koperti mill-parroċċa. 03/05/2023 The Archbishop's Curia, Floriana19 organisations within the Church in Malta that offer their services in the social sphere met with Archbishop Charles Scicluna on Wednesday 26th April at the Archbishop’s Curia, Floriana. The organisations which form part of the Secretariat for Diaconia, spoke about their work and the tough realities they face on a daily basis.
