The relativization of the Bible, which denies the value of Word of God, constitutes a genuine crisis that is both external and internal to the Church, says Cardinal Marc Ouellet. On Friday 4th February 2011, a Press Conference was held, during which the programme of activities for Marriage Week (7th – 13th February) was announced.

Marriage Week was held for the first time in Malta in 2010.  That year, the activities consisted primarily of two National Conferences, one on 6th February and the other on the 13th.  The main speakers during the first conference were the Prime Minister and Mrs Gonzi, and the Leader of the Opposition and Mrs Muscat, who shared their views on the definition of ‘healthy marriage’ and what action could be taken to further strengthen marriages in our country.  … Read more »

On Tuesday, 1st February 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. held a meeting with around 90 specialists, doctors and nurses who work at the Intensive Care Unit at Mater Dei Hospital. During this meeting they discussed several topics related to treatment being received by patients who are seriously ill and facing near death.
