Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. has appointed Fr Malcolm Agius as the new parish priest of Santa Lucija.
Fr Malcolm Agius was born in Msida on 18th December, 1981. He received his education at St Elizabeth Primary School in Sliema, Dun Guzepp Zammit Brighella Junior Lyceum in Hamrun and Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary in Naxxar. Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. will be leading Lenten Talks for separated persons at Sarrija Church from Monday 26th to Thursday 29th March 2012 at 7.00 p.m.
These talks are organised by the Cana Movement, Caritas and the Diocesan Commission for the Family.

On Thursday 8th March 2012, a Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral in Mdina, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the ordination to the priesthood of Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Mercieca.

Pope's visit to Mexico
Pope Benedict XVI will be visiting Mexico from March 23-26. It will be his first visit to the country, which John Paul II visited five times. It is the first leg of a two-country tour of Latin America. The Pope will visit Cuba for three days after leaving Mexico.
