NEWSPAPERS STILL IN STYLE FOR CATHOLICS

A majority of Catholics still prefer to get their news about the Church from weekly print newspapers, according to a report published recently by the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA), based at Georgetown University.

The word of the Bishop on the Word of God

Thursday November 3 – the first in a series of sharing sessions on the scriptures between young people and the Archbishop. Between the Lines is a special programme spreading over the coming eight months across the six pastoral districts of Malta. STRENGTHENING MARRIAGE PROJECT 2011 – 2012

A project entitled Zwieg B’Sahhtu was launched by Cana Movement in October 2008, the aim of which is to create greater awareness among the general public on the necessity for strengthening marriage and the family, through the presentation of different topics and aspects of family life.

A MEETING OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES

The JOINT WORKING GROUP MEETING of the Roman Catholic Church and the World Council of Churches will be held in Malta, at the St George Preca Centre, Archbishop’s Seminary, Rabat, between Monday 31st October and Saturday 5th November. The Diocesan Ecumenical Commission and the Hospitality Staff at the Seminary have been assisting the organizers with regard to logistical arrangements.
