Made public yesterday was the list of witnesses to be called in the trials against Paolo Gabriele and Claudio Sciarpelletti who are accused, respectively, of aggravated theft and complicity.

Former Papal butler’s trial initiated

The trial against former Papal butler, Paolo Gabriele and Secretary of State employee Claudio Sciarpelletti opened on Saturday, during which the Vatican Court ruled that the accused will be tried separately on charges of aggravated theft of private documents and aiding and abetting a crime, respectively.

Welcome Home

On Tuesday, 23rd of September 2012, young volunteers were greeted at St Vincent de Paule Residence by Archbishop Paul Cremona on their return from voluntary missions this summer. The volunteers shared their experiences with the residents of the Home and accompanied them to a social evening in the central Piazza.

Over the summer months, more than 350 young people took part in voluntary projects in Malta and another 12 countries around the world… Read more »
