Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna reacted to the attacks on Paris, this morning on RTK radio, during the programme ‘Newsbook’ presented by Jes Saliba.
“First of all, I would like to express solidarity, also on behalf of the Maltese Church, to all the French people and relatives of victims. Let us pray a lot for the numerous victims. We condemn unreservedly the terrorist attacks which are trying to destroy the peaceful way in which we live…
“The prevailing scientific data and the results obtained from local IVF treatment to date demonstrate that the introduction of embryo freezing in Malta is scientifically unnecessary and unreasonable”.
This is one of the main conclusions of a group of experts in the field of clinical medicine, law, psychology, social policy, family studies, disability studies, philosophy and theology, commissioned by the Maltese Episcopal Conference to prepare a study on the changes that the Government is apparently preparing to introduce to the Embryo Protection Act (2012)…

On Wednesday 11th November 2015, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna visited St Ignatius College, Tal-Ħandaq, Ħal Qormi, where he met with 3, 4 and 5th Formers and the College staff. The Archbishop had the opportunity to answer questions from the students and engage in dialogue with them.
