2016 Financial Report of the Archdiocese of Malta: The surplus is distributed among social and charitable entities

In 2016 the Archbishop’s Curia registered a surplus of €752,000 that was distributed through subsidies to Church entities that carry out social and charitable work.

Fr Mark Cachia SJ has been appointed as the new chaplain of the University of Malta. Fr Cachia, 35, succeeds fellow Jesuit Fr Michael Bugeja SJ, who had served in the role for the past nine years.
