The second day of the CCEE meeting in Malta started with the media officials sharing and discussing their experiences on how they dealt with crisis situations related to economic and transparency issues, child and sexual abuse, refugee arrivals and the relationship with the institutions.

Dr Paolo Ruffini, Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See, spoke about the ongoing process of reforming the Vatican’s communications structure and suggested tools for working together to continue the mission of the Church…

Abortions in England and Wales have hit a record level, according to statistics released by the British government.

Figures published online June 13 by the Department of Health revealed that abortions in 2018 rose by 4 per cent from the previous year.

The 205,295 abortions represented the first time that more than 200,000 have been carried out in a single year…

On Monday 17th June 2019, 53 participants from 27 European countries and the Holy See arrived in Malta for the annual meeting of media officials and spokespersons of the Bishops’ Conferences (CCEE).
