Missio Malta, in collaboration with the Mosta Scout Group are once again inviting members of the public to get their adrenaline going at the annual Abseiling & Zipline Weekend at Mosta Bridge on the 12th and 13th November. 

The event which is in its 11th edition, shall be raising funds for Maltese missions in Ethiopia.

The pontifical vestments of Pope St Pius V are being brought to Malta to commemorate the 450th anniversary of his demise and are being exhibited at St John’s Co-Cathedral till the 13th of November 2022.

Dominican priest Marius Zerafa passed away aged 93. His funeral will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, 25th October, at 9:30am. From 8:15am, Fr Zerafa will lie in state at the Convent of Jesus of Nazareth, Tas-Sliema. International Missions Day will be celebrated on Sunday 23rd October 2022, and will shine a light on the work carried out by Missions, with communities in developing countries.

Missio Malta, which forms part of an international organisation of the same name, has dedicated the whole month of October to raise awareness about the cause.
