On Thursday 14th January 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP was invited to a meeting organised by the Secretariat for the Laity in collaboration with the Chamber of Pharmacists, at the ‘Ċentru Animazzjoni u Kummisjoni’, in Birkirkara. Rev. Prof. Manuel Agius, Faculty of Theology Deacon and lecturer for Moral and Bioethics at the University of Malta, also attended this meeting.
The pharmacists who were invited to attend this meeting were given the opportunity to speak about ethical and moral challenges faced on a day to day basis in their profession.
Ms. Maryanne Sant Fournier thanked Archbishop Cremona for attending the meeting and presented him with a memento on the occassion of his visit.
