In preparation for Pope Francis’ visit to Malta on the 2nd and 3rd April, Archbishop Charles Jude Scicluna is inviting all Catholics from different countries who are currently residing in Malta to join him this Saturday, 19th March, in the celebration of the Eucharistic Liturgy at St Paul Cathedral, Mdina. Mass will be held in English and will be streamed live at 6pm on Church.mt and Newsbook.com.mt.
On the solemnity of St Joseph, patron of the Universal Church, we remember, in the words of the Holy Father, that he is “the special patron of all those forced to leave their native lands because of war, hatred, persecution and poverty” (Patris Corde, 5).
