On Wednesday 31st August 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. left Malta to travel to Lourdes to lead a pilgrimage organized by the Lourdes Voluntary Association. Attending this pilgrimage are 350 people, which include 120 patients, 6 doctors, 12 nurses, a therapist and a pharmacist. Besides this, each patient will be accompanied by a helper.
This year, the Lourdes Voluntary Association is celebrating their 10th anniversary. The pilgrimage will come to an end with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. in the Masabielle Grotto. The Archbishop comes back to Malta on Tuesday, 6th September.
