
During the month of September, the Archdiocese of Malta will broadcast the mass daily at 9:30am on TVM+, Knisja.mt and Newsbook Malta. From Monday to Saturday on Knisja.mt, Newsbook Malta, and the Archdiocese of Malta’s Facebook and YouTube. Every Sunday, the mass will be broadcast on TVM, Knisja.mt and Newsbook Malta, the RTK 103 radio station, and the Archdiocese of Malta’s Facebook and YouTube.
Archbishop Charles Scicluna will lead these celebrations:
On Sunday 6th September, at 10:00am, the Archbishop will celebrate mass at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace in Żabbar and place a precious metal rose in front of the crowned painting of Our Lady of Grace on the 75th anniversary of the placing of the crown on the same painting by Archbishop Mikiel Gonzi. At 6:00pm he will celebrate mass at the Collegiate Church of the Virgin Mary in Naxxar and place a precious metal rose in front of the statue of the Virgin Mary on the 300th anniversary of the arrival of the same statue in the parish of Naxxar.
On Tuesday 8th September, at 4:00pm, the Archbishop will celebrate mass for the rite of perpetual profession of Sr Melissa D’Amico within the Sisters of Charity, at the Archpriestly Church of St. Cajetan in Ħamrun.
On Sunday 13th September, at 9:30am, the Archbishop will celebrate mass at the Sanctuary of St. Paul of the Cross in St. Paul’s Bay.
On Saturday 19th September, at 7:00pm, the Archbishop will preside over the investiture of three priests as canons coadjutors at the Metropolitan Chapter, at St. Paul’s Metropolitan Cathedral in Mdina.
On Sunday 20th September, at 9:30am, the Archbishop will celebrate mass at the Chapel of Mary, Mother of the Church in Ta’ Mlit in Mosta.
On Monday 21st September, at 9:30am, the Archbishop will celebrate a state pontifical on Independence Day at St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
On Friday 25th September, at 6:30pm, the Archbishop will celebrate mass with the Franciscan family on the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina.
On Sunday 27th September, at 9:30am, the Archbishop will celebrate mass on the World Day of Migrants and Refugees at the Parish Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Qawra.
On Tuesday 29th September, at 6:00pm, on the feast of St. Michael, patron saint of prison officers, the Archbishop will celebrate mass with the officers and workers of the Corradino Correctional Facility, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina.
