On Sunday, 10th November 2024, around 50 members of the St George Preca Group (Malta) gathered at the DĦS Conference Centre for their annual retreat. During the retreat, they reflected on the theme “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Mt 25:40).
The day began with the praying of the psalms, followed by an activity in small groups on different aspects of love for one’s neighbour. Mr. Carmel Farrugia then shared his thoughts on the theme, followed by an interview with Mr. David Farrugia and Ms. Vanessa Engerer, who shared their experiences of volunteering as Catholics. The retreat continued with Mass, celebrated by Rev. Kevin Schembri. After lunch, the retreat concluded with the praying of the Rosary.
