Pope Leo XIV received the President of the Republic of Malta, Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, in the Vatican on Monday morning.

The President subsequently met with Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, accompanied by Vatican Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations,  Archbishop Paul R. Gallagher.

According to a statement released by the Holy See Press Office after the encounter, the talks at the Secretariat of State were cordial and there was an exchange of views on the current international situation, with particular attention given to the Middle East and Ukraine… Read more »
