Renewing our appeal for a shared will for unity among Member States – European Bishops

The Bishops of COMECE have followed with concern and alarm the opening of new theatres of war, following the one in Ukraine, in the Middle East, without forgetting the many other ongoing conflicts across the globe. We have appreciated the efforts of the European Union not to fuel tensions, but rather to promote, wherever possible, diplomatic initiatives and dialogue.

Liturgical celebrations led by the Archbishop during Easter

Archbishop Charles Scicluna invites Christians to participate in the Holy Week functions during which the Catholic Church commemorates the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. During these holy days, the Archbishop will preside over the celebrations at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
