Pope Francis: telegram of condolence for London attack

  • Pope Francis has sent a telegram expressing his condolences to the victims of the terror attack at the House of Parliament in London on Wednesday, in which an attacker killed four people before armed police shot him dead.

Pope greets participants in Vatican water conference

  • Pope Francis has greeted participants in a Vatican conference on the value and values of water promoted by the Pontifical Council for Culture.

    Wednesday, March 22, marks the 25th iteration of World Water Day, instituted by the United Nations in 1992.

    The conference is entitled “Watershed: replenishing water values for a thirsty world”.

  • Nhar it-Tlieta 13 ta’ Marzu 2017, l-Arcisqof Charles J. Scicluna żar il-Junior College G.F. Abela, l-Imsida, fejn iltaqa’ mal-istudenti u l-istaff tal-Kuleġġ. L-Arċisqof intlaqa’ mill-Kapijiet tal-Kulleġġ u d-Direttur Spiritwali Fr Marco Portelli. L-Arċisqof kien akkumpanjat mid-Delegat taż-Żgħażagħ Benjamin Flores Martin.

    L-Arċisqof iltaqa’ maż-żgħażagħ u pparteċipa f’diskussjoni magħhom fil-canteen tal-Junior College, fejn wieġeb għall-mistoqsijiet tagħhom. It-temi diskussi kienu l-inklużjoni tal-persuni LGBTI fil-Knisja, sehem iż-żgħażagħ fil-liturġija, il-volontarjat f’pajjiżi tat-tielet dinja, l-addattament tal-Knisja f’ħajja mgħaġġla u teknoloġika, kif it-teatru jista’ jintuża biex il-Knisja twassal it-tagħlim tagħha, kif iż-żgħażagħ jistgħu jersqu iktar lejn Alla fiż-żmien tar-Randan, ir-relazzjoni tal-Knisja mal-Iżlam, u l-mużika fil-Liturġija.
