NATIONAL VIA CRUCIS

OUR LADY OF SORROWS PENITENTIAL PILGRIMAGE

On Friday 15th April, 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. led the Lenten penitential pilgrimage with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows, from the Church of Ta’ Giesu in Valletta. The pilgrimage was attended by hundreds of devout Catholics.

The Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff published the calendar of ceremonies to be presided over by Benedict XVI during Holy Week.
