ART EXHIBITION AT CASTILLE IN AID OF CARITAS MALTA

Il-Caritas Malta qed torganizza Wirja tal-Arti fil-Berġa ta’ Kastilja bil-partecipazzjoni tal-artisti ewlenin John Martin Borg, Celia Borg Cardona, Anton Calleja u Andrew Diacono. Il-Prim Ministru Dr. Lawrence Gonzi ser jinawgura l-wirja nhar l-Erbgħa, 27 ta’ Ottubru 2010. Il-Wirja tkun miftuħa għall-pubbliku kuljum mill-4.00 p.m. sat-8.00 p.m. sas-Sibt, 30 ta’ Ottubru, 2010. Is-Sibt tkun miftuha wkoll filgħodu.

SYNOD LOOKS AT 41 PROPOSALS FOR POPE

Middle East

For now at least, the work of the synod on the Middle East is focused on 41 proposals that, after further revisions, will be presented to Benedict XVI this Saturday.Among the most representative topics included in these proposals is ecumenical dialogue, interreligious dialogue with Muslims and Jews, and the decisive importance of the Christian presence in the Middle East.
