The Foundation for Theological Studies is launching ten bursary schemes to encourage individuals to pursue postgraduate studies in pastoral areas at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Malta.
The Foundation, established in 1988 by Archbishop Joseph Mercieca, among its objectives gives priority to the development of theological studies in Malta.
In line with recent developments in the local Church and in the light of the pastoral vision of Pope Francis, the Foundation for Theological Studies hopes to contribute to academically-trained pastoral ministers in various areas of the life of the local Church.
